Dentistry in this city is quoted behind closed doors, and that is exactly why people put it off until it hurts. Here is everything we charge. Where a range is shown, it is because the tooth decides — and we will tell you which end you are at, with the X-ray on the screen, before we start.

How long things actually take

The two treatments people ask about most, start to finish.

These are genuine sequences, so they are numbered like one. Nobody enjoys discovering at visit three that there are four more. Here is the whole thing before you commit to the first appointment.

A dental model being held, showing an aligner in place

Single implant

About 5 months · 5 visits · ₦950,000 – ₦1,400,000
1Assessment & CBCT

3D scan to measure the bone. If there is not enough, you find out here, not on the day of surgery.

Day 0 · 45 min
2Placement

The fixture goes in under local anaesthetic. Most people go back to work the next day.

Week 2 · 90 min
3Healing

Bone grows onto the implant. You wear a temporary tooth. Nothing to do but leave it alone.

Weeks 3–14
4Digital scan

We scan for the final crown once the implant is solid. No putty impressions here.

Week 15 · 30 min
5Crown fitted

Shade-matched to the teeth beside it, checked in daylight before you leave.

Week 18 · 45 min

Clear aligners

9–14 months · reviews every 8 weeks · ₦1,850,000 – ₦2,900,000
1Scan & simulation

You see a moving preview of your own teeth finishing before you pay for anything.

Day 0 · 45 min
2Aligners fitted

Attachments bonded on, first sets handed over, and we teach you to seat them properly.

Week 4 · 60 min
3Wear them

22 hours a day, changed weekly. This is the part that decides whether it works.

Months 1–9
4Reviews

Every eight weeks. If a tooth is lagging we refine early rather than at the end.

Every 8 weeks · 20 min
5Retainers

Fixed wire behind the front teeth plus a night retainer. Teeth drift back without them.

Final visit · 40 min
If it has been a while

Nobody here is going to tell you off.

A good number of our patients have not seen a dentist in five, ten, fifteen years. They usually arrive braced for a lecture. They do not get one — partly because it helps nobody, and mostly because we would rather you came back.

Come and just talk first

Book the consultation and keep your mouth shut if you like. Plenty of people do exactly that on the first visit, and we charge them the ₦35,000 all the same so there is no pressure to go further.

Tell us the word to stop

Raise your left hand and everything stops immediately — drill down, suction out. It is not a formality; we build the appointment around it.

Numbing that does not hurt going in

Topical gel first, then a slow injection with a warmed cartridge. The needle is the part people fear and it is the part we have worked hardest on.

Sedation if you need it

Oral sedation for longer work, IV sedation with an anaesthetist for surgical cases. Ask at the consultation — it adds ₦180,000 and for some people it is the difference between treatment and no treatment.

Who you will see

Four clinicians, and you keep the same one.

You are assigned a dentist at your first visit and you stay with them. Continuity is not a luxury in dentistry — the person who placed the filling is the person who should be checking it two years later.

Dr. Chiamaka Nwankwo
Principal dentist · implants & restorative

BDS Lagos, MSc Implant Dentistry (Sheffield). Places every implant in the practice and has done since 2017. Will talk you out of an implant if a bridge would serve you better, which happens more often than you would think.

Dr. Yusuf Danladi
Orthodontics · aligners & braces

Runs all straightening cases and the digital scanning. Famous in the practice for refusing to start an aligner case on anyone who admits they will not wear them 22 hours a day.

Dr. Ebele Okonkwo
Paediatric & general dentistry

Sees every patient under sixteen, plus our most anxious adults. Has a genuine gift for making a first appointment boring, in the best possible sense.

Blessing Adeyemi
Dental hygienist & therapist

Gum health, cleans and deep cleans. Gum disease is the single most common reason people in Abuja lose teeth, and preventing that is most of what she does all day.
